In addition to the integrated activities within research groups, ASCIDE includes other activities and options. Among them, include the following:

Master in Management of Innovation and Knowledge
This Professional Master is the result of an alliance between two organizations interested in developing knowledge and innovation: the Sociology Department 2 of the UPV / EHU and the Society for Industrial Promotion and Restructuring (SPRI). Both entities share as a central idea, the belief that knowledge management and innovation require openness, flexibility, learning and ability to work cooperatively with others.
Taught in the Experience Classroom of the UPV / EHU, located in Bilbao, is directed by Alfonso Unceta. This Masters has the cooperation of relevant organizations such as BBK, CEBEK, EITB, Euskaltel, Gamesa, Grupo Arteche , Iberdrola, ITP, Lantegi Batuak, Panda Software and Tube Gathered.

Specialist and Master in Finance and Public Finance

Integrated within the Institute for Public Economics at the UPV / EHU, and in collaboration with the Basque Institute of Public Administration (IVAP), the courses are taught at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Sarriko).

Institute for Public Economics The Institute of Public Economics is a public entity created in 1981 as dependent element of the Graduate Institute University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU) (adopted by OM February 10th, 1984) and is based on the Zubiria Etxea building – First Floor, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Sarriko).

Its main objectives are: 1. To contribute to research in economics in the Basque Country.
2. To co-operate with the training of qualified personnel of the Third Cycle.
3. To spread the potential of Economic Analysis.
4. To collaborate with public and private entities in the analysis and solution of problems in the area of Public Economics.
